As a result of special circumstances these past few months, this will not be a regular AGM. ACORN is at a critical juncture and we need as many people involved in the organic movement as possible to come out. We are inviting past, present and future ACORN members to attend, as well as those who feel they have a stake in Atlantic Canada’s organic sector.
The Board will provide context regarding the organization’s recent challenges, and this will be followed by a Q&A on the same topic. An important goal at this AGM is to arrive at a general vision for moving forward. We therefore ask those planning to attend to please come prepared with your vision for the future of ACORN (e.g. 1-2 minutes statements) and to participate in a facilitated session on ACORN's next steps. There will also be a call for nominations to the Board of Directors.
A more detailed AGM Agenda and supporting documents will be made available soon. Please bring your own lunch and cup/mug. We are hoping to have a call-in option available. We hope to see you there!
