The Last WordWe asked a number of organic farmers about what advice they would give to new or transitioning farmers. Here’s what they said. Find a market before you plant a crop. Proceed carefully; it always takes longer than expected. Don't do it all at once unless you have other avenues of income. Keep it in perspective. Know what you can absorb. Start small and grow. Don’t invest too much money into something until you know what you really want to do and that it can work.
