Organic Farm (Maple & Honey) Assistant

Duties: We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with relevant education or comparable experience in maple and/or honey production, who is committed to assisting the owner, and to join our existing team in the overall operation of a divesified organic farm in Baddeck, NS. We run a modern line of equipment along with step-back-in-time horse drawn equipment. We will challenge you to continue learning while putting into practice what you have learned. Duties include, but not limited to, the harvest and management of the maple & honey lines, taking care of small livestock herds and administrative tasks.
Qualifications: Experience is preferred but we will train the right person. We require clean, energetic, friendly, organized and enthusiastic staff who take pride in quality food presentation, a neat and organized work space and being part of supportive team. Capable of or willing to learn driving horse drawn equipment. We are particularily interested in folks who appreciate what we do at Crown Jewel Resort Ranch.
Term: Full-time
Hours: 40-50 hours/week
To Start: ASAP
Wage: To be negotiated depending on qualifications and experience, temporary housing is available.
