Keynote Speaker: Director of the Florida Organic Growers and Agricultural Justice Project, Marty Mesh, is this year's keynote speaker!

Marty has an impressive organic resume. A founding member of Flordia Certified Organic Growers & Consumers Inc. (FOG), Marty is also a board member of the Organic Trade Association, Southern Sustainable Agriculture Working Group and many more. Marty is also a dedicated farmer, father, filmmaker and an extremely lively and engaging speaker.

ACORN is looking very forward to introducing Marty to our conference goers, and to hearing about his experiences with FOG, the Agricultural Justice Project and as a devoted promoter of organics around the world. Gwendolyn Simpson: from the Canadian Farm Business Management Council is also a featured speaker at this year's conference.

Hotel Information: The conference and trade show take place at the Rodd Charlottetown Hotel (roddhotelsandresorts.com). This historic conference centre has all the amenities for a great getaway-restaurant/bar, indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, fitness centre and more. Special ACORN rate is $99/night (must book by February 14). Call to make your booking un "ACORN" at 902-894-7371.

Travel Information: The Rodd Charlottettown is located in Charlottetown, PEI, at 74 Kent St. From University Ave., turn right to Houston St., drive two blocks to Pownal St. and turn left at the lights. Drive two more blocks to Kent St. There is free parking at the hotel, but if it's full there is parking at Queen and Kent.

Volunteering: There are many volunteer opportunities available at the 2010 Conference & Trade Show. This is a great way to get involved, meet new people and get free day passes to the conference with a minimum of four hours time.
